The Wellnit OD-Mounted Pipe Cutting & Beveling Machine is a portable split-frame clamshell system engineered for precision pipe cutting, beveling and weld-end preparation. Its split-frame construction allows the machine to separate into two halves and mount around the outside diameter of in-line pipe, making it suitable for applications where pipe ends cannot be opened or where access is restricted. The machine supports cold cutting and beveling , avoiding the heat-affected zone associated with hot cutting processes. Cutting and beveling can also be performed simultaneously to produce a clean, precision weld preparation while improving operational efficiency. With a working range covering pipe outside diameters from 1" to 56" , the system can process carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy materials across a variety of wall thicknesses. Multiple bevel profiles are supported, including V, U, J and compound bevels , together with counterboring and flange-facing configurations where appropriate tooling is used. Electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, Metabo motor and servo motor drive options are available, allowing the machine configuration to be selected according to the operating environment and application requirements.
